We recently facilitated the move of a beautiful SK-EX Shigeru Concert Grand Piano 9’1” for recordings by renowned Russian performer Alexander Kobrin. He recorded all of Beethoven’s sonatas, starting with the first eight.
Among the top pianos in the world, fewer than 20 Shigeru Concert Grand Pianos are built annually.

One fourth generation company to another, this was an inspiring project for us.
Over the past 120 years, music and the facilitation of creativity has always felt like an escape, a way to move through tough moments and fully celebrate good times. A blast from the past
My brother Michael Jones worked for Shaffers Piano back in the 70's
Became friends with Rick the son of Shaffer pianos
Michael ruined his back back then, suffered the rest of his life until age 60 a few years back
Due to over prescibed medications for the pain all through those years became adicted and eventually it took his life.
What brought me to your website was my neighbor needed a piano move, I looked up your company and there you were.
They have since decided to leave the piano at its location here in Gaithersburg instead.
