Earlier this year, our team attended the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show, where we had the opportunity to spend time with piano builders, educators, and industry leaders from around the world. It is always an energizing experience for us and a chance to see what is next, play new instruments, and connect directly with the people behind the pianos. This year, one introduction stood out above the rest: the brand-new Kawai Master Series Upright Pianos.

The Master Series represents the highest level of craftsmanship in Kawai’s upright piano lineup. Designed as a true performance instrument rather than simply a luxury upright, these pianos combine Kawai’s acclaimed Millennium III action with thoughtful structural refinements that enhance responsiveness, tonal depth, and long-term stability. From the refined touch to the richly warm and expressive sound, the Master Series is built to inspire serious pianists.

After spending time with the instruments and meeting the Kawai team who brought them to life, we knew we wanted to introduce the Master Series to our region. We are excited to share that Schaeffer’s Piano Company will be welcoming the Kawai Master Series to our showroom soon. While the pianos are not yet on the floor, they are on their way and we are preparing to showcase them to our community.
